"American Soldier" captured. How tragic.
First, read this article.
For those of you too lazy to click, here's the picture of a "captured American soldier" posted on an Islamic Extremist site.
Tragic, isn't it? Now click here.
That's not a soldier, that's a G.I. Joe baby, yeah!
Yep, if you were clever you caught that. That's no soldier, that's an action figure.
You'll notice the "gun" held to his head also. I have no idea what that is. It looks like it wants to be an M16 (American issues assault rifle) but well, it isn't. And that type of terrorists use M16s? None of 'em, they're all using Russian made (and mass produced) AK-47s. But if you look at the product picture, you'll see it's actually the "gun" the figure comes with. How interesting. They're holding a plastic figure hostage with his own included plastic gun.
How ironic.
So what we have here my friends, is a hoax. Someone at the Associated Press needs to retire, and I award this with a
tag.
Edited to add: CNN just added this to thier site. A day late, and a dollar short.
